The size does matter if you are going to create a network of computer but the equipment will remain the same. • Peer-to-Peer Based Computer Network
• Dedicated Server Network

The basic difference between these two networks is, in peer-to-peer network every computer acts like a server and client or both at the same time. While in dedicated server network all the applications are installed on the server computer and the clients can access them easily.

Equipment Required

For p2p computer network setup we need a router wired/wireless capability and Ethernet cords to make the router work with the modem and then from router to all other PC's. The only extra thing we are going to need to setup a client-server setup is a server/server friendly OS.

if you are going to run a small business enterprise then you must go for p2p networking because its cost effective and easily manageable but if you are willing to run a large business or to expand your business later then you must adopt Dedicated Server Network to run your business easily and efficiently.
